Death Announcement of Mrs Warue Kabuchoru

With deep sadness, I hereby inform you that one of our Assistant Lecturers

Mrs. Cecilia Warue Kabuchoru

has died. She passed away in Nairobi on Friday 25th November 2011, at 10 p.m.

Cecilia joined SEKUCo on 1st October 2011 as a specialist in the field of Hearing Impairments. She began her teaching duties as soon as we opened the university college. A week ago, she went to Jamaa Hospital in Nairobi where she was to be treated for her foot problem. She visited the hospital and received treatment on Tuesday and Thursday. On Friday, Cecilia was in good health but in the evening her condition worsened drastically. As she was being rushed to hospital, Cecilia passed away.

According to Cecilia’s husband, Robinson Kabuchoru, the last words our colleague and teacher uttered before she gave up the spirit were: “God, if I am to die, forgive me all my sins!”

Peace be with you!

Rev. Dr. Anneth Munga
